We are currently reviewing a 50-inch monitor setup with Microsoft "FancyZones".
It has taken a couple of days, but I have now, at last, got used to looking "up" for Outlook instead of looking "left"!

I like the height of the 50" screen as it feels like two 27" monitors stacked one on top of the other but the width, while usable, is possibly a bit too wide for some ... but I LIKE IT.
This is my current "zone" layout and "zoom" settings and it really seems to work well.

If I was to sit with my elbows on the desk, then 100% zoom was the perfect resolution, but I didn’t want to work so close that my nose was touching the screen because, well...

I wanted the option to lean back in my chair with my feet up on a footstool and to still be able to read the screen comfortably.
I tried the different zoom levels at different distances from the screen before eventually settling on the 125%.
This is my preferred zone mapping...

I have been working on some XSLT for a customer who was able to provide a PDF of the required layout.
PDF layout was in the top left zone while the HTML output was in the top right.
I was developing the XSLT stylesheets in the main work area and the CSS stylesheets were in the bottom right.
I was able to see EVERYTHING all in one place and also change the headphones playlist at the same time.
I don't know if this setup is for everyone but I'm LOVIN' it!

Microsoft "FancyZones" is great for "snapping" your apps to different "zones" on the screen but if you need to share your screen in a Teams/Zoom/Skype session, then you will need to download this additional app.
You "snap" the "Region to Share" app to a "zone" and then enable it ... and there you go.
