S1000D Airplane Flight Manual to PDF
We have extend our S1000D Print & Publishing solutions in the Civil Aviation sector by including PDF output for the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM). S1000D Issue 4.2 Data Modules are formatted to comply with the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) Specification No. 1 layout rules and Published to a fully bookmarked PDF file.
GAMA Spec No. 1 was developed for use in preparing Pilot's Operating Handbooks (POH) to ensure they:
- Are of maximum usefulness as an operating reference book for pilots;
- Meet government regulatory requirements (where applicable); and
- Meet industry standards for scope of material, arrangement, nomenclature and definition
The published PDF file can then be included in the pilots Electronic Flight Bag (EFB).
